Dog badly injured in second Wheaton coyote attack

Another small dog is recovering from severe injuries following a coyote attack, the second in a week near Wheaton. Linda Arigi’s 16-lb. bichon frise, Evie, was attacked inside her fenced backyard on Stonebridge Court in Wheaton. The attack came one week after Sue Reid’s dogs, Jake, a silky terrier, and Floyd, a Yorkshire terrier, were surrounded by between four and six coyotes in the fenceless backyard of their home on Mohican Drive, just outside Wheaton. Jake was severely injured and Floyd’s remains were found this week.
